Michael is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist who combines clinical experience, research, and practical strategies to support children, adolescents, young adults, and their families.
Michael has worked across child and youth mental health services in both government and non-government settings, supporting young people experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional and behavioural regulation challenges, trauma, relationship difficulties, and school-related concerns.
Alongside therapy, Michael provides comprehensive cognitive and academic assessments to help build a clearer understanding of learning, development, and educational needs. His work is informed by extensive clinical research, with a particular interest in autism, childhood trauma, and rare neurodevelopmental disorders.
Outside of private practice, Michael is the Clinical Research Manager for the Centre for Clinical Trials in Rare Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CCTRND) at Queensland Children’s Hospital. He also lectures at the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology, contributing to the education and development of future psychologists.

Where appropriate, he also incorporates physical activity and movement into therapy to help engage young people and support overall wellbeing.
